Luca Costella
Luca Costella is the managing sales director and resident Gelato Master at PreGel CANADA. Originally from Treviso, Italy, Luca moved to Canada four years ago. Before joining PreGel, Luca represented and sold Italian equipment for the food industry, exposing him to the many different types of gelato machinery. Luca's experience also includes working in the pastry and gelato departments at a popular Italian bakery in Toronto. It was here that Luca became familiar with PreGel products while preparing delicious concoctions and revamping several gelato recipes.
Luca joined the PreGel team in 2007 to continue on his culinary path in the frozen desserts industry. Luca enjoys spending time in the PreGel Training Center teaching students, experimenting with gelato, and developing new combinations and recipes for our clients. In his spare time, Luca spends as much time as possible outdoors, either fishing or running with his English Setters.
